CNC 3/5-Axis Machinist

Job DescriptionOverviewReno Machine Company, Inc. with its wholly owned subsidies TM Industries and Design Company, Inc. manufactures and designs precision aerospace parts and components.\nReno Machine is actively searching for an experienced CNC 3/5-Axis Machinist to join our team. As a CNC 3/5-AxisMachinist, you will be responsible for setting-up, adjusting and operating a variety of large format machines per op-sheets and blueprints with little to no supervision while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment supplies. Machine parts may have multiple shapes with steps, profiles, tolerances of plus or minus .001 or have multiple OD and ID threads.\nDuties:\n\nInterpret schematics and CAD drawings\nSet up and operate per op-sheets and blueprints in a job shop environment\nInspect the finished product for accuracy per blueprints and setup sheets\nMaintain your machine and troubleshoot issues\nReport any major issues to management or the design team\nHandle materials appropriately and safely\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED certificate\nFive years of experience in operating CNC machines\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and job process routing sheets\nAbility to read, write and edit simple programs\nVocational certificate (preferred)\nExperience with CNC machines\nStrong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills\nGood math and communication skills\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\n\n*Overtime is required (greater than 40 hours/week)*\nJob Type: Full-time\nBenefits:\n\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\n
