Gastroenterology Opportunity for a North Florida Practice This eight-physician group serves north Florida and the surrounding counties. In practice, since 1976, the group is well established and well revered within the community and medical staff. The group is seeking a physician that wants to build a long-term career in the area and is offering partnership at the end of the second year. The group has six mid-level providers in addition to their physician staff and owns their own 27 exam room office building, in addition to an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The call structure would be 1:9 with each physician taking a week at a time, plus one night per week. The practice is recruiting due to an increased need over the years for services and a large referral base. The call coverage is for just one hospital. The inpatient call coverage is shared with the hospital providing coverage for half of the year. The group is open to experienced physicians, as well as fellows. However, they are unable to support visas, but are open to FMGs. ERCP and Advanced Procedures are preferred. Often described as "The Other Florida" with its deep-rooted history, rolling hills, mild climate, southern-style hospitality and canopy roads of moss-draped oaks. They are a medium-sized city where the power of the state government and a vibrant academic and artistic community are complemented by old-fashioned charm. They are located in the central northwest panhandle region of Florida, 30 minutes north of the Gulf of Mexico and 30 minutes south of Thomasville, Georgia.
