The Data Domain is the team that collects data from all sources of data both internal and External and builds Datawarehouse solution. We own the ingestions and creation of views and data marts which will be used by our Analytics team, data scientists, and business for creating analytics reports and dashboards. Familiarity with Big Data concepts, Spark, and Kafka is advantageous.Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EC2, and Redshift is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving skills are necessary, with the ability to proactively address challenges and deliver effective solutions.Source control. Subversion and/or GIT.Understanding knowledge of the software development lifecycle: design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operational support.Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, Service Oriented Architecture and object-oriented programming methodologies.Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing.Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and demeanorProficient in the use of MS Office suite, including familiarity with VisioAbove all else, the desire and ability to learn quicklyDemonstrates key competencies to include Cultivates Innovation, Nimble Learning and Drives ResultsYour Team This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Software Engineering Manager.
