Technical/Functional BA

Description We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This individual will partner with stakeholders, product teams, and engineering to gather requirements, define system functionality, and support the delivery of scalable, data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions Work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams throughout the SDLC Create user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria Support system integration efforts, APIs, and data mapping initiatives Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements Assist in UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet business objectives Document current and future-state processes and system workflows Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders Requirements Required Qualifications 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong technical exposure Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong understanding of SDLC, system integrations, and data flows Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling Experience with SQL and data analysis tools Familiarity with APIs, web services, and system architecture concepts Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business users Oracle experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience working on data, BI, or analytics-focused projects Exposure to automation, AI/ML, or digital transformation initiatives Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications Key Skills Requirements gathering & documentation Stakeholder management Data analysis & SQL Process improvement & workflow design Agile methodologies Technical acumen (APIs, integrations, systems) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
