The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and proven experience delivering mission-critical solutions within the banking and financial services domain.The candidate will lead a team of developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers, and drive the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance banking applications.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipLead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise banking applications.Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams.Establish development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture and security standards.Drive technical discussions and solution design sessions. Application Development Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems.Develop integration solutions with internal and external banking systems.Implement event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Develop reusable frameworks and components to improve development efficiency. Banking Domain Delivery Work closely with business teams to understand banking products, workflows, and regulatory requirements.Deliver solutions supporting:Retail BankingCommercial BankingDigital BankingPayments and TransfersLending PlatformsTreasury ServicesCustomer OnboardingAML/KYC Compliance Cloud & DevOps Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.Deploy and manage applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.Ensure application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization. Security & Compliance Implement secure coding practices and banking-grade security standards.Design authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SSO solutions.Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and data protection controls.Participate in risk assessments and security reviews. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Experience 10+ years of software development experience.5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.3+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience.Strong experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.Experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical applications.
