Controller (Direct Hire)We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team, reporting to the SVP of Finance. This role will oversee all accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. MUST COME FROM A FOOD MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND TO BE CONSIDERED. Key Responsibilities:Lead financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flowOversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisManage all accounting functions: AP, AR, general ledger, cost and inventory accountingEnsure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controlsLead external audits and manage financial riskMonitor and manage cash flow and intercompany accountsPartner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and drive performanceSupervise and develop accounting staffQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller experienceFood Manufacturing and cost accounting experience CPA or CMA strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)Proven leadership and team management experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
