Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong transplant experience for a day shift position requiring proficiency with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants.Job Details• Work in a hospital operating room specializing in complex organ transplant surgeries,• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm,• On-call required for 1 shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month,• Assignments may include liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases, in addition to other surgical procedures,• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs,• Ceil blue scrubs required,• EPIC charting system used; experience preferred,Job Requirements• Active FL or compact RN license (pending license accepted),• Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant operating room RN experience required,• Must have documented experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures beyond organ harvesting,• Proficiency with Misonix/CUSA equipment required,• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS at time of consideration, NIHSS prior to start,• First-time travelers considered,• All applicants must be nicotine free and pass a 10 panel plus cotinine drug screen,• Negative background with no license hits accepted,• EKG and Pharm competency tests required during orientation, with 2 maximum attempts each,Additional Information• Role focuses on intraoperative nursing care for advanced transplant and related surgical procedures,• Must be able to prioritize timely completion of onboarding modules prior to assignment start,• Completion of 6-15 hours of pre-start and annual modules required, tracked through SilkRoad,• RTO must be provided up front and any additional requests will not be approved,• Hospital operates as a teaching facility,• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for 1 year from their previous end date at any facility in the system,• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces,
