Role: Content CreatorBase Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 USDDescription: Are you a creative, curious builder with strong storytelling skills and a scrappy startup mindset?We're looking for a Content Creator to bring Blackthorn to life across our owned channels. This role focuses on strategically expanding brand awareness through engaging content.Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you'll partner closely and collaborate across teams to translate campaign priorities, product value, and customer insights into unique content that feels human, confident, and differentiated, driving awareness and demand for Blackthorn. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership and autonomy.We are an AI-first company, and this role requires someone who enthusiastically uses AI tools daily to produce high-quality content.What you'll do:Social MediaOwn day-to-day content strategy and creation for LinkedIn and YouTube, with opportunities to expand into additional platforms over timeCreate platform-native content, including short-form video and visualsDevelop a recognizable and consistent brand presence across social channelsMonitor engagement and performance, using insights to refine content directionSupport executive social media strategy and employee advocacyVideo & WebinarsCreate engaging, agile, and high-impact video content across channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, short-form clips, behind-the-scenes, storytelling formats) that brings the Blackthorn brand to lifePartner with the broader Marketing team to execute webinars, consulting onwebinar concepts and formatsOwn promotional content and campaigns to drive attendance and engagement for live webinarsDevelop post-event content strategies that extend the impact of each session well beyond the live moment, including repurposed assets across social, email, blog, and webBrand Expression & StorytellingHelp refine and evolve how the Blackthorn brand shows up through content and media across owned channelsTranslate company strategy, product value, and customer insight into clear, compelling narrativesBring forward creative ideas, content series, and new formats — and test what resonatesWhat we look for:5–7+ years of experience in social media, brand storytelling, or a related role for B2B Saas companiesExceptional writing, editing, and video production skills, with a portfolio you're proud ofExperience creating content across formats (written, social, video)Experience building strategies that balance balancing creativity with data-backed insightsStrong collaboration skills. You'll work closely with a Sr. Content Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners, and often need to influence without direct authority.Demonstrated power-user proficiency with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar). We will ask you to walk us through your AI workflows in the interview.
