Hybrid Details: Onsite 2 days/week; potential travel once a quarterDuration: 3 months to start (with potential to extend)Job DescriptionThe�Social Media team is seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Social Content Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a sharp eye for design and video editing, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You ll be responsible for producing engaging, platform-native content (primarily static with some short-form video), while also supporting light community management duties to ensure a consistent and authentic brand voice across channels. Your work will directly influence how consumers experience and engage with our brands, helping to build loyalty and drive cultural relevance. The Social Content Specialist will implement the�social media approach of assigned brands, occasionally assist in managing engagement and interactivity with the consumer audience and generate best-in-class social content with efficiency and excellence. You ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners, gaining exposure to integrated marketing strategies and the latest in digital innovation, as well as internal department teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong social brand. Key Responsibilities Content Creation (90%)Create thumb-stopping content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and FacebookDesign static graphics and edit short-form videos using brand guidelines and current trendsCollaborate with internal teams and agency partners to align content with brand strategy and campaign goalsStay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to inform content strategySupport the creation of social toolkits, templates, and creative briefsCommunity Management (10%)Monitor and engage with audiences across owned social channels using social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr)Respond to key comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate mannerFlag emerging issues, trends, or opportunities to internal teamsQualifications2+ years of experience in social media content creation (Will consider 1-2 years for candidates who have acting/theatre experience/training)Experience in community management is a plusStrong graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)Please be prepared to provide a portfolio showcasing your best design work or standout social content that demonstrates your creative impactDeep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practicesExperience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred)Excellent copywriting and communication skillsBachelor s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferredBilingual in Spanish is a plus Working ConditionsRemote work from the Greater ChicagoMust have reliable internet accessOccasional evening or weekend work may be required based on content needs or community escalationsTravel up to 25% may be required for content capture, team collaboration, or event coverage
