Forensic Architect

DescriptionWe're looking for a Forensic Architect / Testifying Expert to join our team in Orlando, FL.ResponsibilitiesPrepare consulting agreements and set up contract summary sheetsAssist experts with research efforts as requested by them or the division directorOrganizing case files/documents for researchSet up electronic case filesPrepare and/or monitor demonstrative exhibits as skill will allowAssist in document storage and retrieval effortsParticipate in case marketing effortsMonitor fee collection efforts for cases he or she is responsible forAssist in maintaining the case database and case reference libraryOffer testimony (depositions, arbitrations, trial etc.) if and when it is necessary for a particular caseRequired SkillsMinimum 4-year college degree in related field of architecture/engineering and or construction or equivalent (to be determined by division director)Minimum 7-year experience in the architectural and/or construction fields (prior experience with similar forensic work is a plus)Very familiar with the design and construction process and familiar with instruments of service used within sameFamiliar with Building CodesBasic understanding of destructive testing proceduresComputer literate in CAD software and three-dimensional design software such as Revit.
