OverviewWe are seeking an Environmental Specialist to support power delivery projects across transmission, distribution, and substation programs in Oregon. This role will play a key part in ensuring environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory alignment throughout the lifecycle of utility infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport environmental planning and permitting for transmission, distribution, and substation projectsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (NEPA, ESA, Clean Water Act, etc.)Coordinate with internal engineering, construction, and project management teamsInterface with regulatory agencies and stakeholdersConduct environmental field assessments and site inspectionsPrepare and review environmental documentation, reports, and permit applicationsTrack and manage environmental commitments throughout project executionPosition OverviewInsert hereDistrict OverviewInsert District/Department OverviewLocationInsert hereResponsibilitiesInsert hereQualificationsInsert hereQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field3–10+ years of environmental experience supporting power delivery or infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of permitting and regulatory requirements in Oregon/PNWExperience with transmission, distribution, or substation projects preferredAbility to work in a field-based capacity with travel as neededStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skillsPreferred ExperienceNEPA documentation (EA/EIS)Wetlands, wildlife, or cultural resource coordinationExperience supporting utility or EPC environmentsFamiliarity with Oregon-specific agencies (ODFW, DEQ, DSL, etc.)
