Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Media

OverviewWe are seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-driven Senior Manager, Performance Marketing & Media to lead the strategy, investment planning, and optimization of large-scale digital media programs in a regulated healthcare environment.This role is responsible for full-funnel media strategy, cross-channel integration, and performance outcomes across paid search, paid social, video, programmatic, and emerging platforms. As a senior leader within Marketing, you will own media investment strategy and allocation, oversee agency and platform partners, and ensure that performance marketing drives efficient patient acquisition while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare advertising regulations.You will serve as the subject matter expert for paid media strategy, working cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to align media investments with enterprise growth objectives, CAC targets, and long-term brand equity.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Media Leadership & Investment PlanningOwn the full-funnel paid media strategy across Google, Bing, Meta, YouTube, OLV, programmatic, and emerging channelsDevelop annual and quarterly media investment plans aligned to business growth goals and patient acquisition targetsLead marketing mix strategy and channel allocation decisions to optimize upper-, mid-, and lower-funnel performanceManage and forecast 8-figure annual media budgets with accountability for pacing, efficiency, and return on investmentEstablish CAC, ROAS, LTV, and contribution margin targets in partnership with Finance and AnalyticsPerformance Optimization & Execution OversightOversee campaign architecture, audience strategy, creative testing frameworks, and bid strategy across platformsEnsure continuous optimization of campaigns to meet or exceed performance goalsGuide testing roadmaps across creative, audience segmentation, landing pages, and channel mixMonitor daily/weekly pacing and proactively mitigate performance or compliance risksOutside Media & Agency ManagementManage external agencies, DSP partners, and ad tech vendors as needed, holding them accountable to performance KPIsEvaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance efficiency and attribution accuracyLead contract, scope, and evaluation of media partnersAnalytics, Attribution & ReportingPartner with Analytics to refine attribution models, incrementality testing, and media measurement frameworksTranslate complex performance data into actionable insights and executive-ready reportingDevelop dashboards and reporting cadence for leadership visibilityIdentify performance trends and make strategic recommendations to scale growthCross-Functional Leadership & ComplianceCollaborate with Brand and Creative teams to ensure integrated campaign executionPartner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to:Platform advertising policiesHealthcare advertising regulationsPrivacy and data protection standards (e.g., HIPAA where applicable)Act as a key stakeholder in go-to-market planning for new services, markets, and growth initiativesQualifications7-10+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or paid media strategyDemonstrated success managing 8-figure annual media investmentsDeep expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, and programmatic/OLV platformsProven experience developing full-funnel media strategies across awareness, consideration, and conversionStrong understanding of CAC, ROAS, LTV, and unit economics in growth marketingExperience managing agencies, DSPs, or ad tech partnersAdvanced analytics and reporting experience using Power BI, Google Analytics, or similar platformsStrong proficiency in Excel and performance forecasting modelsLeadership CompetenciesStrategic thinker with strong business acumenExecutive-level communication and storytelling skillsData-driven decision maker with financial rigorHighly accountable and proactive in a remote environmentAbility to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authorityDetail-oriented and compliance-consciousPreferred QualificationsExperience in multi-location or distributed service-based businessesExperience leading marketing mix modeling or multi-channel investment allocation decisionsPrior experience in healthcare, health services, pharma, or regulated industriesFamiliarity with healthcare advertising compliance and privacy frameworksExperience supporting multi-brand or multi-market organizationsWhy Join UsSenior-level ownership over enterprise media strategy and investmentOpportunity to influence growth at scale in a regulated, mission-driven healthcare environmentDirect visibility to executive leadershipCollaborative, agile Marketing team built on accountability and resultsFully remote with flexibility and autonomyJ-18808-Ljbffr
