Staff Accountant

Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant for one our customers located in Downtown Sacramento, California. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant. The position will report to the Controller and be responsible for general accounting activities including the preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries with and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statementsPrepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet and income statement account reconciliationsPrepare weekly and month0end cash reportReview cash receipts, AR billing, and AP trial balancePerform general ledger account analysis and maintain financial records and GL accountsPrepare and review statutory reports and compliance reportsProvide audit support and assist on ad-hoc projects and requests as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is requiredComfortable with your general accounting knowing your debits and credits and strong GAAP knowledgeSoftware experience in NetSuite would be preferredMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook & Excel - intermediate/advanced)Good communications (verbal & written)Detailed, reliable, and organizedTeam player, a positive attitude, and quick to learnExperience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant (Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant) Employment Type: Temporary (4/5 Months) If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com !Pay Details: $34.00 to $39.00 per hourSearch managed by: Flynn WoodworthBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
