Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs and goalsDevelop customized treatment plans based on assessmentsProvide effective occupational therapy interventions and techniquesMonitor and document patient progressCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive careEducate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques for continued progressJob RequirementsBachelor's Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Academic curriculum will include coursework on growth & development, gerontology & therapeutic procedures for pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric populations required.New applicants must present documentation of continuing education or experience. Upon annual appraisal must demonstrate participation in external continuing education required.CA Occupational Therapist License (CA OTL) required.American Heart Association Basic Life Support Cert (AHA BLS) required.Fire Safety card (within 90 Days from Start Date) required.Where You'll WorkFounded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located.
