We are looking for a Pastry Cook who will work alongside 4 to 5 other team members in the department to produce cookies, cakes, quiche, croissants as well as other pastries and desserts for our bakery, our 6 retail locations and many wholesale customers. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn, has attention to detail, and a focus for high quality. Students in culinary school are encouraged to apply.Expectations:Some pastry or baking experience or educationWorks efficiently at all tasks.Expectations of high quality of self and helps others achieve the same.Is self-directed but willing to learn and ask for help as neededGood at receiving constructive feedback. Duties:Accurately scaling recipesMixing, scooping and baking cookies, muffins, etc.Making mousse, fillings, frosting, etc.Assembling tarts, quiche, cakes, and other assorted pastries and dessertsShaping croissants and DanishesBaking all products as directedCommunicating needs with co-workers and managers
