On a space-available basis, employees can play golf, tennis, or pickleball, use our employee fitness room, and purchase merchandise in one of our many shops.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PASTRY COOK:As a Part-Time Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for scaling, production, and execution of pastry mixes, fillings, individual desserts, frozen desserts, cookies & bars, pies & cakes, and doughs & breads. You will be expected to have excellent time management to ensure the high quality of each dessert item. The Pastry Cook maintains consistent management of the ice cream bar, as well as the production of muffins and cookies, ensuring all items meet established quality and presentation standards.JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a minimum of 3 years of experienceACF Certification is preferred but not requiredMust continue to expand culinary abilityMust possess a sense of desire to satisfy members' requestsMotivated to get the job done, no matter what obstacles appearMust be service-oriented, possess great attention to detail, and have a strong desire to succeedMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to spend long periods on your feetAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on production demands is required.Ability to pass a drug testReliable transportationCertification of culinary training or secondary-level education is preferred, but not required.Estimated Schedule:In season: Available 5-6 days per week as business demands.Shoulder season: Available 5+ days per week as business demands.Off-season: 35+ hours per week as business demands.ABOUT BONITA BAY CLUBBonita Bay Club is a private club renowned for the most extensive services, amenities, and facilities nestled in the center of Bonita Springs, Florida.
