Collectively, this organization second largest in Maine serves over 500,000 residents in the northern 2/3 of Maine's geography, with eight hospitals and dozens of affiliates.In this practice, you will join two full-time Ophthalmologists, a third working part-time, two Medical Optometrists, and excellent support staff. With an annual volume of 8000+ visits and more than 700 surgical cases annually, the practice is thriving! This well-established Eye Care services group has been providing comprehensive ophthalmology, with a subspecialty in medical retina, since 1994. This team is based in a newly-built outpatient suite right on the hospital campus, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including digital photography/angiography, SD-OCT, YAG laser, diode laser, ultrasonography, IOL Master, wavefront/corneal topography, and more.
