Ophthalmic Technician Location: Beverly Hills, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,200 to $1,360 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00/Hourly. Summary: An Ophthalmic Technician assists ophthalmologists in providing eye care by performing diagnostic tests, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting clinical procedures. They play a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate data collection for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities: ⁠Assist ophthalmologists during eye exams and minor procedures. Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures. Administer eye drops and medications as directed. Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment. Record patient history and clinical findings accurately. Manage patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Flu Vaccinated (no exemptions/no declinations), Optos Experience, Preferred: Graduation from an accredited program for Ophthalmic Techs, Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
