Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Number of Beds - 30 Type of staff: Day Shift –1 CNC/charge; 12 nurses Night Shift – 2 RN’s (sometimes this is Call and not scheduled shifts) Patient Ratios – 1RN:2patients; 1 RN:1Patient EMR - Meditech Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of PACU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting - KS RN License - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
