The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to produce precision parts and tools as per specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, performing machine adjustments, measuring and inspecting finished products for accuracy, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal performance. The machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and safety in all operations.QualificationsProficiency in operating and setting up tools such as manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, or CNC machinesAbility to interpret and work with technical blueprints, schematics, and drawingsKnowledge of precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gaugesAttention to detail and an understanding of safety guidelines in a machining environmentExperience in troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on machineryProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyPrior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machining or a related field are a plus
