Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) TechnicianLocation: Allen TX 75002 (Hybrid Remote- 2 days onsite per week)Duration: 3 months (With the possibility to extend to hire)Work Shift: Swing Shift- 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Wednesday–Saturday)-Pay Range: $25 - $27.85/hr. on W2Job DescriptionGeneral ResponsibilitiesNextGen Operations Technicians execute high-availability incident response for remote-hosted and Cloud-enabled customer operations.ServiceNow Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem ManagementRemote network surveillance and event responseTriage and resolution of service-impacting incidents within SLA'sParticipation in complex troubleshooting with next-tier SME'sCustomer-facing technical support delivered via telephone, email, and web portalStakeholder communication during service-impacting eventsVendor ticket managementBasic RequirementsMinimum of a High School DiplomaMust be able to work a 10-hour shiftQualificationsWorking knowledge of IP networking and interoperability standards1+ years of experience troubleshooting IP network connectivity1+ years of experience troubleshooting service and hardware errors generated by:RoutersSwitchesTerminal devicesServersEndpointsWorking knowledge of networking protocols such as:VPNBGPMPLSSIPPreferred SkillsNetwork Operations or Telecommunications industry experienceCisco CCST or CCNA certification (plus)ITIL CertificationAWS Cloud surveillanceKey ContributionsJoin Critical Incident tech team and act as a contributor to improving incident management.Improve incident triage process.Provide critical feedback on processes and knowledge.Must-Have QualificationsWorking knowledge of IP networking and interoperability standards1+ years of experience troubleshooting IP network connectivity1+ years of experience troubleshooting service and hardware errors generated by routers, switches, terminal devices, servers, and endpointsWorking knowledge of networking protocols, such as VPN, BGP, MPLS, or SIPDemonstrated ability to navigate and interpret network drawings (i.e., Vizio drawings)Software / Technical ProficiencyNetwork Operations or Telecommunications industry experienceCisco CCST or CCNA certification a plusITIL Certification (Preferred)AWS Cloud surveillanceEnterprise Solutions Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
