We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist II who possesses strong expertise in networking, Linux, Windows Server, and troubleshooting to deliver high-level technical support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.RequirementsResponsibilities:Deliver remote technical assistance through phone, email, web, and direct customer engagementDiagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and WiFiProvide support for Windows Server platforms and Linux operating systems (preferably Ubuntu/CentOS)Manage inbound and outbound technical support calls and oversee support ticket resolutionCollaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to address and solve customer problemsRecord technical issues and solutions, and update knowledge base documentationAssist Regional Sales Managers by fulfilling technical support requestsSupport internet protocols, SSL/TLS certificates, Azure Cloud services, container technologies, and virtualization platformsRequired Skills:2 to 3+ years of experience in Technical Support or Application Support rolesExcellent troubleshooting and analytical abilitiesProficiency with:Windows Server 2008/2012/2016Windows 7/8/10Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)Network devices such as routers and switches, VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP protocolsPowerShell scriptingHTTPS, SSL/TLS security protocolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, and Linux certificationsExperience working with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platformsKnowledge of Azure Cloud and container technologiesFamiliarity with ITIL framework is a plusAdditional Information:This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or transition to permanent hireCandidates must be willing to work onsite in Allen, TXSuccessful candidates are required to pass the CJIS background screeningThe interview process consists of two rounds: one onsite and one via Google MeetMust-have skillsLinux, Networking, Help Desk SupportGood-to-have SkillsOn-call Support
