This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting while also supporting and strengthening our business partnerships through operational excellence and financial transparency.The ideal candidate has strong experience in full-cycle accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands how accounting functions can directly impact client relationships, vendor partnerships, and overall business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle AccountingManage all aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparationOversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controlsMaintain and reconcile fixed assets and prepaid expenses, including amortization and depreciation schedulesEnsure proper revenue recognition aligned with B2B contracts and logistics service agreementsPrepare and review balance sheet and income statement analysesPartnership & Business SupportCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and account management teams to support client and vendor relationshipsProvide financial insights that improve pricing strategies, contract terms, and partnership profitabilityAssist in resolving billing discrepancies and partner/vendor inquiries in a professional and timely mannerSupport onboarding of new partners by establishing clear financial processes and expectationsReporting & CompliancePrepare internal and external financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP (or applicable standards)Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentationMonitor and improve accounting processes, identifying efficiencies and automation opportunitiesMaintain strong documentation and adherence to internal controlsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or B2B environmentsStrong experience with full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, fixed assets, and prepaidsSolid understanding of revenue recognition and contract-based accountingExperience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to interact cross-functionally and externallyProblem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementBusiness acumen with an understanding of how accounting impacts partnerships and growthInterested in hearing more?
