Medical Assistant

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physician in providing high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, help prepare patients for examinations and procedures, and ensure efficient daily operations within the ENT practice.Key Responsibilities:Room patients and prepare them for ENT examinations and procedures.Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient symptoms.Assist the physician during ENT procedures such as ear cleanings, nasal examinations, endoscopy preparation, and minor in-office treatments.Prepare and sterilize ENT instruments and equipment.Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the physician and within scope of practice.Perform basic clinical tasks such as ear irrigations, hearing screening preparation, and specimen collection.Update and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Schedule patient appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with follow-up care instructions.Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, clinic policies, and HIPAA regulations.Maintain exam rooms and ensure adequate clinical supplies are available.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.Previous experience in ENT, outpatient clinic, or medical office preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.Preferred Skills:Excellent patient care and communication skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment.Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.Professional and compassionate approach to patient care.Work Environment:ENT specialty clinic or outpatient medical office.Direct patient interaction during exams and procedures.Collaborative team environment with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.Compensation:Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.How to Apply:Qualified candidates who are passionate about patient care and interested in working in an ENT specialty practice are encouraged to apply.
