CareSource AI Intern

Job Summary:The CareSource Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting enterprise-wide AI initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence. The intern cohort will be comprised of highly motivated college seniors or recent graduates with strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence.Essential FunctionsAssist in translating business problems into AI-enabled solutions.Participate in pod-based delivery teams focused on tangible operational outcomes (cost, quality, experience, compliance).Help validate AI outputs for accuracy, fairness, and regulatory alignment.Document AI use cases, workflows, assumptions, and results to support adaptability.Prepare summaries, dashboard, and presentations for leadership and governance forums.Perform any other job related duties as requested.Education and ExperienceHigh School or GED requiredMust be enrolled as a senior-level college student and on track to graduate within the upcoming academic cycle or recent graduate from a bachelor's degree program at an accredited institution requiredStrong academic performance in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average requiredCompetencies, Knowledge and SkillsHands-on experience with AI/ML techniques (e.g. machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision)Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Java) preferredKnowledge of relevant AI frameworksrequiredAbility to collaborate effectively in an in-office environment and communicate with various teamsEffective problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently and within a team environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsEffective listening and critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential informationProficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointLicensure and CertificationNone requiredWorking ConditionsGeneral office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeTravel is not typically requiredBackground CheckEmployment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a criminal background check. If the criminal background results are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn or, if employee has started in position, employment in position will be terminated.Compensation Range:$41,200.00 - $66,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
