Through a variety of federally, state, and locally funded programs, we empower individuals and families by providing compassionate support, education, and opportunities for growth.Position SummaryHARCATUS is seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Life Coach to support at-risk youth and young adults in achieving their educational, career, and personal goals. This position provides intensive case management, life skills instruction, career exploration, and supportive services through the Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP) and other youth-focused initiatives.The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, adaptable, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people.Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify participants’ skills, interests, barriers, and career goals.- Develop and implement individualized service plans and career pathways.- Provide instruction in: - Financial literacy - Job readiness and employability skills - Leadership and citizenship - Healthy behaviors and life skills- Deliver tutoring and academic support as needed.- Coordinate career exploration activities, leadership opportunities, and community service projects.- Provide intensive case management and connect participants with community resources and supportive services.- Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, attendance records, and participant data.- Build strong relationships with schools, employers, training providers, and community organizations.- Assist with participant recruitment, work experience development, and transportation coordination.- Participate in trainings, meetings, and agency initiatives as assigned.Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred.- Minimum one year of experience in education, counseling, coaching, mentoring, or case management.- Experience working with at-risk youth or young adults preferred.- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to engage youth in both group and individual settings.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet, and social media platforms.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Requirements- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.- Must pass BCII/FBI background check and required drug screenings.- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on participant and program needs.- Occasional travel for meetings and trainings may be required.Benefits✔ Health Insurance✔ Dental Insurance✔ Vision Insurance✔ Life Insurance✔ Flexible Spending Account✔ Flexible Schedule✔ Paid Time Off✔ Retirement PlanMake a DifferenceIf you are passionate about empowering youth, building stronger communities, and helping young people overcome barriers to success, we encourage you to apply and join our mission-driven team at HARCATUS.
