Job Title: Personal Injury Legal Assistant / Case ManagerAbout the Company:Our client is a legal services organization focused on representing individuals in personal injury matters. They are committed to providing high-quality support throughout the legal process and delivering excellent client service.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant / Case Manager to support our client's legal team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with a Personal Injury law firm in Texas and be comfortable assisting with both pre-litigation and litigation matters. This role involves case management, document preparation, filing, medical record coordination, and supporting attorneys throughout the lifecycle of personal injury cases.Responsibilities of the Role:• Assist with the management of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.• Support attorneys with pre-litigation and litigation case activities.• Prepare, organize, and draft legal documents and correspondence.• Handle court filings and document management.• Request, review, and organize medical records.• Assist with medical lien tracking and coordination.• Maintain accurate case files and records.• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties as needed.• Ensure deadlines and case requirements are properly tracked and completed.Required Experience and Qualifications:• Experience working for a Personal Injury law firm in the State of Texas.• Knowledge of personal injury case processes and procedures.• Experience with legal filing and document drafting.• Familiarity with handling medical records.• Experience managing or assisting with medical liens.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.Preferred Skills:• Litigation experience.• Pre-litigation experience.• Case management experience within a personal injury practice.• Knowledge of Texas personal injury legal procedures.• Strong document organization and record management skills.Personality:• Detail-oriented and highly organized.• Professional and dependable.• Proactive and resourceful.• Strong problem-solving abilities.• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.Software & Tools:• Case management software.• Document management systems.• Microsoft Office Suite.• Medical records management platforms.• Legal filing systems.Schedule:Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
