This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience, direct client exposure, and the ability to build a strong long-term career in family law.The ideal candidate is hardworking, curious, coachable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving litigation environment. Prior family law experience is helpful, but not required. The firm is open to training the right attorney who brings strong judgment, work ethic, and a genuine desire to become an excellent litigator.What You’ll DoHandle a range of family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, parenting time, and related litigationDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and client communicationsPrepare for and attend court hearings, conferences, mediations, and client meetingsWork closely with the firm’s principal attorney on strategy, case preparation, and client managementManage smaller matters with increasing independence as experience growsLearn the practical, strategic, and litigation side of family law in a highly hands-on environmentWhat We’re Looking ForLicensed attorney in IllinoisStrong work ethic and willingness to put in the time required to learn and growComfortable with litigation, conflict, pressure, and fast-moving case demandsStrong writing, analytical, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ownership over work productProfessional confidence and the ability to think on your feetInterest in family law and client advocacyPrior family law or litigation experience preferred, but not requiredCompensationBase salary: approximately $95,000–$105,000, depending on experienceAdditional productivity-based compensation for billable hours above weekly expectationsAdditional earning opportunity for associates who originate businessStrong long-term earning potential for high performersBenefits & Work ArrangementHealth insurance offeredMonday–Thursday in officeFridays may be remoteOffice located in downtown ChicagoAbout the OpportunityThis role is ideal for an attorney seeking substantial courtroom exposure, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop into a highly skilled family law litigator.
