In this role, you will work closely with engineers to set up and maintain test automation infrastructure, operate essential lab equipment, and assist in assembling and debugging PCB prototypes. Your expertise in hardware troubleshooting, lab instrumentation, and documentation will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our testing processes. If you have hands-on experience in lab environments, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for cutting-edge technology, we encourage you to apply and be part of our innovative team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up and maintaining test automation infrastructure for ASIC validationOperate and maintain temperature chambers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeter and other lab equipmentAssemble, rework, and debug PCB prototypes and test setupsConduct functional and environmental testing of ASICs and embedded systemsWork with engineers to debug hardware and software issuesDocument test procedures, results, and troubleshooting stepsEnsure lab organization, calibration, and inventory management of componentsQualifications & SkillsAssociate’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related fieldHands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, etc.)Experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and rework (fine-pitch components a plus)Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or scripting for test automation)Understanding of ASICs, microcontrollers, and embedded systemsStrong troubleshooting skills in hardware and firmwareAbility to read schematics, layout files, and datasheetsDetail-oriented with strong documentation skillsNice to HaveExperience with thermal testing in temperature chambersFamiliarity with SPI, I2C, UART debuggingExposure to RF or high-speed signal testingWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
