Electronic Technician

Job Title: Senior Prototype AssemblerLocation: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 12 + Months contract (Possible extension)Pay Rate: $26.11 – $32.64/hrJob Description:Seeking an experienced Senior Prototype Assembler with strong hands-on experience in PCB soldering, BGA rework, SMT soldering, and prototype assembly in an engineering environment. The role involves electrical and mechanical assembly, circuit card assembly, prototype lab support, rework and modifications, and supporting product build schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, load, and solder printed circuit boards (PCBs) with minimal supervision.Perform BGA installation using reflow machines and BGA level rework, including reballing.Execute SMT soldering for 0201/0402 size components.Install and solder IC components, including QFN, DRQFN, and SOT packages.Perform desoldering, soldering, repair work, rework, and modifications to assemblies and sub-assemblies.Assemble and disassemble plastic enclosures and prototype hardware.Fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies.Perform mechanical assembly of panels, chassis, and test boxes.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation.Support prototype lab operations and stockroom activities.Coordinate prototype and product build schedules to meet project timelines.Troubleshoot assembly and build issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.Contribute to new assembly and manufacturing processes.Maintain quality, safety, and engineering standards in production activities.Required SkillsBGA Level ReworkBGA RebellingPCB SolderingSMT SolderingElectrical SolderingDesolderingSoldering & ReworkCircuit Card Assembly (CCA)Reflow Machine OperationIC Installation & SolderingQFN / DRQFN / SOT ComponentsPrototype AssemblyMechanical AssemblyWire Harness FabricationCable AssemblyPlastic Enclosure Assembly & DisassemblyBlueprint ReadingEngineering DocumentationTroubleshooting & RepairPrototype Lab SupportManufacturing ProcessesNew Product Introduction (NPI)Required Qualifications:High School Diploma, equivalent, or Electronics Certification.3+ years of experience in engineering, electronics manufacturing, prototype assembly, or a related environment.Experience working in fast-paced prototype or manufacturing environments.Ability to perform detailed soldering and rework operations with minimal supervision.Strong understanding of PCB assembly and electronic components.Enterprise Solutions Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
