Calibration TechnicianPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and high-voltage equipment in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, hands-on electronics experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.Schedule & CompensationSchedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through ThursdayCompensation: $32.00 $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualificationsEducation & ExperienceTechnical education in electronics, electrical technology, instrumentation, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience will also be consideredExperience with electronic measurement, troubleshooting, calibration, and/or repair techniquesExperience in electronic assembly and use of standard hand toolsFamiliarity with electronic test equipment including:Digital multimetersOscilloscopesPower supplies and related diagnostic equipmentBasic soldering and component-level repair skillsExperience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems preferredHigh-voltage calibration or testing experience is preferred, but not requiredQualifications & SkillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments effectivelyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to collaborate across departments to resolve customer and technical issues efficientlyProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and WordAbility to follow written procedures, specifications, and technical documentationSelf-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage and electronic devices in accordance with approved procedures and specificationsAccurately document calibration data, repairs, and work performedEnsure all work is completed in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality requirementsReview questionable test results and data interpretations with the Lab Manager as neededMaintain calibration records and support traceability requirementsAssist in maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas in a clean and organized mannerSupport continuous improvement initiatives and uphold quality management system standardsComply with all company safety policies and proceduresPreferred ExperienceExperience working in a calibration laboratory or electronics testing environmentExposure to high-voltage systems, instrumentation, or metrology environmentsUnderstanding of measurement uncertainty and traceability concepts is a plus
