Project Manager

Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Manager to support large, critical construction projects with a strong focus on plumbing and mechanical scope. This position is onsite in Seattle with occasional national site visits as required. The role supports complex, high-value projects and offers long-term growth within a rapidly expanding organization.Pay$110,000 - $147,000 annually(Depending on years of experience, project size managed, technical expertise, and industry experience)LocationSeattle, WA (Onsite)ScheduleStandard Monday - Friday40 hours per weekResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of responsibility to the client throughout the full project lifecycleManage project activities including estimating, proposals, procurement, execution, and closeoutOversee mechanical and plumbing construction scope on projects ranging from $50K to $25M+Coordinate field labor, installation sequencing, and subcontractor activitiesReview and approve change orders, RFIs, and submittalsLead client meetings and collaborate with owners, general contractors, and architectsForecast project costs, prepare budget projections, and control expenses within approved limitsMonitor job costs, billing, and financial reportingPrepare proposals, contracts, letters, and project documentation for business and legal complianceLead internal coordination across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service teamsSchedule and lead pre-construction kickoff meetingsUtilize internal resources efficiently to meet customer and project requirementsContribute to internal initiatives, committees, and technical improvement effortsAttend internal project management and construction meetingsQualification Requirements5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of mechanical or MEP construction projectsProven experience managing plumbing scope is strongly preferredExperience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract executionStrong understanding of project financials, forecasting, and cost controlsExperience coordinating subcontractor buyouts and construction documentationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMechanical Engineering concentration preferredDisqualifiersLess than 3 years of relevant construction project management experienceNo experience with mechanical or plumbing construction scopeNo experience managing budgets, job costs, or change ordersLimited exposure to large-scale or multi-million-dollar projectsEmployee Value PropositionGrowing organization with plans to significantly expand its national footprintExposure to large-scale, mission-critical construction projects including data center workOpportunity to lead high-visibility projects from concept through completionCollaborative, team-oriented environment with strong internal supportLong-term career growth and leadership development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $147000.00/yr.We also offer educational, skill development, and leadership opportunities, as well as competitive benefit plans including, medical, dental, vision, 401K, and eligibility to participate in our 100% employee-stock ownership plan.Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Seattle,WA.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Apr 3, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
