We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsNuclear Medical Technologist Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As our new Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. Your tasks and responsibilities may include: You will use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.You will prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. You may administer and record dosages as well.You will perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film.You will position patients and adjust immobilization devices.You will compassionately explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.You will monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation. You may assist with transporting patients. Qualifications:High School Graduate or GEDGraduate of an accredited and AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training programCurrent/Active Florida Nuclear Medicine LicenseMinimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Med TechnologistCurrent CNMT or AART (NM); Licensed by the State of Florida requiredCurrent American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association upon hire; ACLS within 6 month of hireAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs Since 1957, HCA Florida Citrus Hospital has grown from a single community hospital into a regional powerhouse with over 200 licensed beds.
