Job Summary: As an Assistant Program/Project Manager within OEM organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting engineering, manufacturing, validation, quality, and supply chain efforts to ensure the successful execution of build events, and special projects. This role demands collaboration across multiple functions to drive program success. Strong communication skills, sense of urgency and a collaborative work ethic are essential. Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating Key Indicator Reports for new areas of business Take on key initiatives designed to promote growth at the OEM Center Take on new initiatives with automating current processes to enhance efficiency Assist Program Manager in an SME role in non-traditional work portfolio Ability to effectively manage change Effectively communicate status of projects to leadership Engage global teams as required. Lead planningreadiness activities to support non-traditional work, special assignments and pre-production as required Support quality processes and build floor activities. Easel board reviews Escalation process Build site direction (BSDs) Daily Production meetings Support achievement of BPD objectives following GMS principals. Lead and execute special projects as assigned. Minimum Skills: High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others. Demonstrated ability to manage numerous issues and work on projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross functional team activities. Preferred Skills: An understanding of manufacturing, quality, project management, or engineering processes Requirements: Education Requirement - Associate's degree in a related field is required Years of experience - at least 8-10 years of experience required Need someone that knows how to build a vehicle or familiar with the manufacturing process (full line manufacturing, prototype experience would be very beneficial) Understanding the change management process This person will be working between the floor and program management Problem solving They are on their feet a lot in this position Someone with a quality background would be a good fit for this position Hiring Manager's Top Skills: Experience working with program execution. Project management/problem solving Understand technical drawings - electrical or reading a print, understand quality requirements Someone who is very hands-on, knows how to put a gas or electric vehicle together Shift Info: 2nd shift 2PM - 10:30PM Monday - Friday Onsite - no remote/hybrid Will work 1st shift for training and then move to 2nd shift 1st shift 7:30AM - 4PM Depends on how quickly they learn before they are moved to 2nd shift - cannot provide a timeline on training it will depend on the person
