We work in person because we believe strong teams are built face-to-face — through trust, communication, and shared goals.Role OverviewThe Inside Sales Representative plays a dual-impact role within IT GOAT’s Sales organization. This position is responsible for supporting existing customers with quoting, procurement, and solution recommendations, while also actively prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities.This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, managing deal flow, and contributing to revenue growth through both account expansion and net-new logo acquisition.Key Responsibilities1. Existing Customer Support & Account Expansion (≈50%)Serve as a primary sales contact for assigned existing clients for:Hardware and software quotingLicensing renewals and upgradesAdd-on services and solution enhancementsWork closely with Account Management, Service Delivery, and Procurement to:Scope solutions accuratelyEnsure pricing, margins, and approvals are alignedDeliver timely and accurate quotesIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base, including:Managed Services expansionsSecurity, backup, compliance, and cloud solutionsManage sales orders from quote through booking and handoff to operations.Maintain accurate CRM records, deal notes, and pipeline updates.2. New Business Prospecting & Lead Development (≈50%)Proactively prospect new business through:Outbound calling and emailingFollow-up on marketing and inbound leadsTargeted account outreachQualify prospects based on fit, budget, timeline, and needs.Schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives or Sales Leadership when appropriate.Support the sales cycle by:Preparing initial quotes and proposalsAssisting with solution positioning and pricingConsistently meet activity and pipeline generation targets.Sales & Revenue ExpectationsMeet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales goalsMaintain healthy pipeline coverage across:Existing customer expansionNet-new opportunitiesTrack and manage all opportunities in the CRM systemParticipate in weekly sales meetings and forecasting reviewsSkills & QualificationsRequired1–3+ years of experience in:Inside sales, sales support, or account coordinationTechnology, IT services, MSP, or SaaS environment (preferred)Strong communication skills (phone, email, video)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneouslyComfortable with outbound prospecting and sales conversationsProficient with CRM and quoting tools (or willingness to learn)PreferredExperience in an MSP, VAR, or IT services organizationFamiliarity with:Managed IT ServicesCloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure)Security, backup, networking, and hardware procurementUnderstanding of sales cycles, margin management, and solution sellingCore CompetenciesCustomer-first mindsetResults-driven and goal-orientedStrong follow-through and ownership mentalityCollaborative team playerCoachable and eager to learnQualificationsCompetitive base + uncapped commissionHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPTO, holidays, and flexible work optionsEnergetic, tech-driven culture with real career growth opportunitiesA brand you can be proud to representBenefits:Health insurance401(k) with company matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountsVision insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceOn-site gym, covered parking with an onsite car wash availableCompany events12 days earned paid time offCompany holidaysSchedule: 8-hour shiftMonday through FridayWork Location:Onsite at IT GOAT’s Dallas Headquarters
