Project Manager, IT

This position requires you to be working in office, 3 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office.Position SummaryThe IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure projects align with organizational goals and follow established project management standards.Core Competencies IncludeStakeholder, Risk, and Issue managementProblem-solving and decision-makingChange managementAttention to detail with the ability to see the big picture Key ResponsibilitiesSet and ensure project goals, milestones, implementation dates are achieved.Facilitate project planning meetingsResponsible for end-to-end project plan that includes all activities needed to achieve project goals.Identify critical path tasks and predecessor tasks required to successfully deliver the project.Secure partner team buy in and commitment to deliverables and timelines associated with assigned projects.Provide status reports and updates pertaining to assigned projects.Work with both internal and external teams to identify and address risks, issues, and roadblocks.Drive management of project backlog review and prioritization process.Education And Experience5+ years of Technology based project management experience leading medium to large enterprise programs.Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Supply Chain, or Project ManagementPrevious experience implementing technology solutions in large organizations.Experience in Agile / Kanban process and familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression, and user-acceptance testing.Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).PreferredProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe)Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environmentsExperience managing vendors and third-party partnersFamiliarity with security concepts, including roles, domains, and business process securityExperience in managing ERP and Supply Chain (including but not limited to Finance, HR modules) along with ERP best practices and ERP Change Management3+ years of experience with service and/or retail technologies.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesProblem-Solving & Decision Making that supports the project and its deliverables.Ability to clearly communicate Project status, risks, and plans.Exceptional interpersonal skills with confidence and conviction in communications.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently within defined job scope.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently with the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
