Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Dallas, TX Agency: RadGov, Inc Pay: $2,500 to $2,700 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with RadGov, Inc to find a qualified Oncology RN in Dallas, Texas, 75201! Position: Registered Nurse (Oncology) Location: Dallas, Texas Start Date: February 25, 2026 Assignment Length: 8 weeks Shift: Day shift, Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed) Weekly Pay Package: Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid : $1,891.96 Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable):$840.00 Weekly Gross $2,731.96 Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our team in Dallas, TX for an 8‑week assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence‑based care to oncology patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is a strong patient advocate, skilled in chemotherapy infusion, and confident in guiding patients and families through the cancer care journey. Key Responsibilities : Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to oncology patients across the continuum of care (diagnosis, treatment, surveillance, end of life). Perform thorough patient assessments, including allergies, hypersensitivity reactions, psychosocial and support needs. Administer chemotherapy and other medications safely, following the six rights of medication administration. Educate patients and families on cancer therapies, side effects, interventions, and prevention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and hospital systems. Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff; rotate as Charge Nurse when needed. Uphold infection control practices and patient confidentiality at all times. Requirements : Minimum 24 months of current Oncology RN experience EPIC Beacon and Chemotherapy Infusion experience ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Certificate Active Texas or Compact RN license American Heart Association BLS certification Must disclose any prior Parkland employment history Submission Materials : Updated resume Oncology‑specific skills checklist Two supervisory references (within the last year) Proof of taxable address Apply now to start your next travel adventure!
