Location CountryUnited StatesVacancy NameNational Account Manager- Western RegionVacancy NoVN400Employment TypeFull-TimeDurationDivisionSalesSummary of Role• The National Account Manager (NAM) Western Region USA I s responsible for managing and developing SDI activities within their region for key accounts being DSOs, Special Markets, Mid-Markets, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Government.• Aligning sales efforts across territories to achieve overall sales targets and facilitating a consistent level of service and partnership with these accounts.• Driving sales increases through focusing on key product categories: Pola, Riva and composites• Developing and managing the key accounts strategy• Conducting work in a safe manner and demonstrating a strong commitment to SDI's values of passion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and innovation.Specific Responsibilites• Develops, maintains, and grows overall business of the Company.• Actively searches for and establishes new sales opportunities.• Strategizes, implements, and communicates key sales strategies and activities with SDI sales managers and dealer partners.• Works closely with SDI sales managers to uncover new opportunities, optimizes price agreements and provides effective customer training.• Manages, maintains, and executes strategic agreements and contracts to meet all sales and business expectations and compliance.• Manages Strategic Account educational and training programs from development through to implementation, with consideration to costs relative to sales to produce an effective ROI and meeting client training needs.• Collaborates with VPs, NAMs, Regional Managers, Territory Sales Managers to develop large accounts, drive volume and increase sales, and to ensure goals are being executed at the field level.• Works closely with key account and Dealer Partners to develop new opportunities and maintains existing ones.• Performs a comprehensive analysis of account potential, capacity, current share, and remaining winnable opportunity by account and product line.• Develops an annual business plan that supports the SDI North American Business Plan and the Company Strategy.Key Relationships (Internal & External)• Internal:• Regional Sales Managers, National Account Manager - Eastern Region, Territory Managers, Company Accountant and support team, Sales Administration Manager and Customer Care Team.• External:• Dealer: Key Account/Special Market teams, Management teams, Sales Representatives, Marketing teams• End User: C-Suite decision makers, Clinical Directors, Product Reviewers, Procurement Staff, Oral Health Professionals, relevant Associations and Industry OrganizationsJob Environment• Working hours: Weekdays and weekends during certain events i.e., tradeshows, CE programs, including travel to and from regions• Ideally based in California (Los Angeles or San Francisco)• Local, interstate, and international travel as required. Primary coverage is West and Midwest (approximately 25 states)• Ability to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.Education LevelBachelor's DegreeEssential Experience• 5 years' experience in the dental industry• 3-5 years' experience in National Account and DSO Management• Bachelor's degree in related field• Proficient in high level contract presentations, negotiation, and documentation• Demonstrated financial analysis skills including the ability to assess business opportunities that maximize sales potential and meet the needs of the customer.• Demonstrated successful leadership experience to include planning and business development in a dental, health or medical device organization.• Demonstrated proficiency in professional direct selling skills.• Ability to meet sales goals and key performance objectives/activities in accordance with established competencies and standards of behavior.• Ability to effectively demonstrate the core values of SDIKnowledge and skills• A proven sales expert, has the Will to Win, makes difficult decisions and is decisive.• Demonstrates initiative and ownership.• Ability to provide strong leadership skills and develop long term professional relationships.• Passionate, positive, and enthusiastic attitudePersonal Qualities• Strong and comfortable presentation and verbal and written skills• Ability to effectively communicate the company's mission, vision, and strategy for the future.• Ability to foster internal and external customer relationships to optimize sales results• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office and using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce• Ability to use various internal data bases and appropriate software to make presentations to customers, and for effective management reporting.Classification LevelNational Account ManagerCurrencyUSDSalary Minimum$140,000.00Salary Maximum$150,000.00Salary PeriodPer AnnumBenefits
