Regional Sales Manager - Specialty Chemicals - Personal Care Markets - California

Responsibilities: Lead a team of sales professionals who sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals to the Personal Care markets in California. The product lines are for the most part functional specialties, silicones, surfactants, emollients, antioxidants, waxes, oils, Etc. This is a leadership role which involves, training, coaching, motivating, removing obstacles for success, etc. There will be hiring responsibilities, performance management responsibilities, etc. Along with input from the Account Managers and senior management set the sales strategy for the region and execute the plan. Communicate effectively with all internal departments, suppliers, and senior leadership. Travel overnight as needed.Requirements: 5+ years of experience selling raw material chemicals to the personal care markets. Along with at least 3 years of sales team leadership experience. A bachelor's degree is required but the concentration is open. High energy, motivating leader, with proven success. Willingness to travel overnight as needed.Company Information: North American raw material specialty chemical supplier focused on selling to the personal care, home care, and Industrial markets.Compensation: Base: $150,000 - $180,000.
