Job DescriptionWistex is looking for an Electrical Engineering Sales Associate to join our Team! Established over 50 years ago, Wistex is an electrical controls distributor with a passion in customer satisfaction and support. The Sales Associate would be responsible for achieving sales revenue goals by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction, and adding value to the customer’s buying experience.Detailed DescriptionYou will be given accounts to start and learn the Wistex sales processMaintain and grow customer logMust be detail oriented, excellent communication skills and highly motivatedReports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to managementIncreases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customer’s buying historyOpens customer accounts by collecting customer informationMust stay informed of new products and attend new product introductionsPrepares, generates and follows up on written quotations to secure ordersReviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items; specifically, those items that may be at risk in meeting the customer’s promised delivery date. Maintains Distribution System backorder report, associated customer expediting report/notices, and customer notification, as required.
