Manufacturing Process Engineer
Overview
In this role you drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes for diffusion, focusing on reducing variation and boosting quality, cost efficiency, and throughput. You will work with the Diffusion Process Engineering team to implement improved methods and support high-volume 300mm wafer fabrication. You’ll run process experiments, analyze data, and resolve equipment- and process-related issues to enable smooth ramp-ups and reliable production. ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing operationsDevelop and implement improved manufacturing methods and procedures to enhance efficiency, yields, machine operations, and qualityLead or contribute to improvement projects including efficiency, cost reduction, quality programs, and new product supportPerform lot and equipment dispositions to minimize cycle time in a high-volume 300mm wafer fabIdentify systemic process or equipment problems and communicate findings to engineering staffSupport ramp with equipment/startup execution and process experiments (SWRs)Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field2+ years of experience in a semiconductor environment or related fieldStrong verbal and written communicationTeam collaboration across functionsTime management and on-time project deliveryStatistical process control (SPC)Engineering change controlProcess release strategies
