The ideal candidate is committed to supporting young learners with diverse needs and has experience implementing effective behavioral strategies to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This role involves working collaboratively with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure each student's academic, social, and emotional growth.Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needsProvide direct instruction in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills using evidence-based practicesUtilize proactive behavior supports and intervention strategies to address a range of student behaviorsCollect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordinglyCollaborate with related service providers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent and effective supportCreate a structured, nurturing classroom environment that promotes student independence and successParticipate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiativesQUALIFICATIONS:Valid state certification in Special Education (PreK-2 or equivalent)Experience working with students with behavioral challenges preferredKnowledge of behavior intervention strategies (e.g., PBIS, ABA principles, or similar approaches)Strong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of learning needsSALARY:$58,420.00 - $120,304.00AVAILABILITY:September 2, 2026
