*BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION* Registered Nurse Job, 12 Hours Days Shift (7a-7:30p), Med Surg 4 South Renal Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for 4 South Renal to work days at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. 4 South Renal performs therapeutic treatments and cares for patients with various diseases, diagnosis, or conditions which include but are not limited to: Diabetes, renal failure, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalance, CVA, cardiovascular-ASHD, CHF, Hypertension, COPD, Fever, Dehydration, Gastrointestinal conditions, Wound infection, and general surgical cases. Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process. Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of#PH#by providing the highest quality care. Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship. Required Skills # Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.# Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.# BSN preferred.# Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
