Our philosophy is that building careers and relationships is as important as the projects that we build.Assistant Project Manager Role (Treatment Plant/Pump Stations) OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager holds responsibility to assist the project team in all aspects of the of the construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Administration: The Assistant Project Manager will provide assistance to the project team in all activities related to contract administration.Schedule and Budget Preparation: The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in preparing the project's schedule, schedule of values, and budgets, as well as updating project schedules as needed. Knowledge of P6 is desired.Document ControlThe Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in document control utilizing Procore Software. Set up and maintain required project reports, forms, and logs, and track activities such as shop drawing submittals, requests for information, field changes, change orders, and the purchase and delivery schedule. Change Proposals: The Assistant Project manager will assist in preparation and negotiation of Change Proposals. Submittal Management: The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in submittal management, ensuring timely submission and release of materials as well as Quality Control.Subcontractor and Vendor Management: The Assistant Project Manager will assist in reviewing subcontractor and vendor requisitionsSafety and Quality Control: Strong knowledge and oversight of safety and quality control protocols are essential to this position.Field KnowledgePrior work in the construction industry required.QualificationsEducational Background: A degree is required in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is desired.Experience: Minimum of 5 years' construction experience, specifically working for a general contractor on government projects.
