Corporate Plus is currently partnering with a high-profile public sector organization in the metro Atlanta area seeking an experienced legal operations leader for a permanent leadership opportunity. This position is fully onsite and offers compensation in the 160k-260k depending on background and scope of experience.Qualified professionals may forward resumes directly to mariah@corporatetemps.com for immediate consideration.This opportunity is designed for an attorney with significant experience advising complex governmental or institutional operations, managing sensitive legal matters, and leading senior-level legal staff across multiple functional areas.The individual selected will serve as a strategic legal advisor supporting executive leadership, operational divisions, oversight bodies, and affiliated entities on a broad range of regulatory, litigation, transactional, and policy-related matters.Key Areas of Oversight Include:• Directing workflow and legal priorities within an assigned practice group• Leading and mentoring experienced legal professionals and coordinating external counsel relationships• Managing high-exposure disputes, regulatory concerns, and operational risk matters• Advising leadership teams on governance, compliance, procedural interpretation, and organizational liability• Drafting and negotiating complex agreements, policy frameworks, operational directives, and institutional resolutions• Providing strategic guidance involving development initiatives, procurement structures, land-related matters, and public-facing projects• Representing organizational interests in administrative proceedings and litigation matters at multiple court levels• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments impacting organizational operations and advising stakeholders accordingly• Participating in executive meetings, strategic planning discussions, and internal training initiatives as neededBackground Profile:• Juris Doctor required• Extensive legal practice experience with prior leadership responsibility overseeing attorneys or legal teams• Licensed and in good standing to practice law within the State of Georgia• Strong background navigating high-accountability environments with multiple stakeholders and evolving operational prioritiesPreferred Exposure:• Public sector, municipal, quasi-governmental, or institutional advisory experience• Familiarity with transactional, property-related, development, governance, infrastructure, finance, procurement, or technology-related legal work• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and issue-management capabilities• Experience appearing before appellate or federal venues considered a plus
