You’ll support senior litigation partners on complex employment, civil rights, voting rights and commercial matters for major public and corporate clients. The firm has the feel of a serious litigation shop without the dead-eyed BigLaw machine around it. High standards, high-profile work, but with a smaller, more human team. You’ll be trained and supported by a senior paralegal with 20 years’ experience, while working directly with attorneys who rely heavily on their paralegals. The work is detailed and sometimes intense, so this suits someone meticulous, polished, organised and comfortable in a collaborative office environment. The upside is real:$65,000–$75,000 salary, year-end bonus, mid-year salary reviews, 20 days PTO from day one, one remote day per week (4 days in office), low billable target around 800 hours, proper mentorship, and a fast interview process. They also do free team lunches twice a week, which is either charming or a hostage situation depending on the sandwich quality.Employment litigation, federal court and e-discovery experience would all be helpful, but strong general civil litigation experience is the main thing. The firm is looking to move quickly and can usually complete the process within 2–3 weeks.
