In the MICU, you'll care for some of the most critically ill patients in the region. Our diverse and high-acuity population includes individuals experiencing:* Neurological emergencies : Stroke, Seizures, Guillain-Barre (GB), TNK, Thrombectomies
* Cardiac crises : Myocardial Infarction (MI), CHF, IABP, Impella, Cardiac Arrest, ECMO
* Pulmonary challenges : COPD, ILD, PNA, COVID ICU
* Severe infections : Sepsis, Septic Emboli
* Metabolic and toxicologic emergencies : DKA, Overdose (OD), Liver Failure, Renal Failure
* Gastrointestinal bleeding : GIB
* Advanced therapies : CRRT, CDT
* End-of-life (EOL) care : Compassionate, patient-centered support for patients and familiesThis environment demands sharp clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and a deep commitment to continuous learning.

Experience:
Greater than one year of ICU experience required. Candidates with 2 years or more of ICU experience will be considered first.On-call: Not required.
Requirements:* Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
* ADN required, BSN preferred.
