Registered Nurse (RN) Medical ICUChicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Full time; 7p-7:30a; Where You Will Work:The 17 bed medical intensive care unit delivers exceptional care to a population consisting of the most medically complex cardiac, sepsis, respiratory, and renal patients. This unit has strong partnerships with a dedicated medical resident team and state of the art equipment, including the cutting-edge EICU, which features around-the-clock simultaneous audio and video monitoring of ICU patients all from one central command center. We're Looking For:Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care What You'll Do:As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
