Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologist performs technical duties under the direction of the Manager, and/or Medical Director of Radiology and obtains quality diagnostic examinations while maintaining superior patient care and providing excellent customer service to patients, family, and all hospital staff.What you will do in this role:Maintains departmental compliance logs.Participates in performance improvement processes.Obtains quality diagnostic images according to protocolExam orders: ensures all orders have the required 5 elementsPACS: Scans in and labels documents appropriately, resolve QA issues in a timely manner, ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.RIS: ensures orders are valid and entered appropriately, ensures ordering physician is correct, completes exams with accurate information, documents pertinent information.Participates in departmental accreditation processes and QA.Transports patients as necessary.Follows all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes.Ensures venipuncture. What qualifications you will need:* Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.* Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license is required.* Current registration with ARRT(R)(CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required. * American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.HCA Houston Healthcare West is a full-service, 300+ bed hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the West Houston communities for over 30 years.
