CT Tech Location: Alamosa, CO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $36 to $50 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Currently offering a $25K Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Pay Rate: $70,720.00 to $99,299.20/Yearly. Summary: We are looking to employ a skilled CT technologist to operate our CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. The CT Technologist’s responsibilities include taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. Responsibilities: Following prescribed techniques in performing procedures such as adjusting equipment; determining proper voltage, current and desired time; arranges immobilization and support devices; adjusts lead shielding; and selects proper film. Cleaning x-ray room and equipment daily. Performing call assignments as needed. Performing quality control tasks and maintains quality control reports as required, specific to the procedures performed. Performing general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, filing, and scheduling of incoming patients, as necessary. Performing diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment. Moving equipment into specified position, preparing room, contrast material, and other materials needed to perform procedures as needed. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
